JAIPUR DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY .... where development is a tradition The most valued possession of the world "Jaipur", was established in the year 1727 according to the dreams and vision of H.H. Sawai Jai Singh. Jaipur now is world famous for its town planning on the basis of "Vastu Art" of the Indian culture. The city is a blend of the specialties of old tradition and beauty of the western countries and is the main attraction of the western and central India. "Jaipur Development Authority" was created by the state government of Rajasthan with a vision to combat and manouevre the growing requirements of a large city in wake of the increasing population and to help give Jaipur a planned look compatible and comparable to any metropolitan city of repute. For this motive J.D.A. was given powers and a green signal to speed up the development and progressive growth of the entire city. To meet these important needs JDA sprang into action and started to understand the necessary needs of the city. According to the basic needs, JDA has been working towards time bound constructions, creation and development of the western Jaipur based on major scientific and hi-tech strategies. Thus Jaipur has been beautified intensively the tourist and living standards. According to the promises and commitments of the Rajasthan Government, JDA has been time and again proving itself as the pioneer of development, creating a state of the art city of substance, under the able supervision and guidance of Mrs. Vasundhra Raje, the Hon'ble Chief Minister of Rajasthan. In past two years all main roads have been widened, over bridges under bridges and flyovers have been constructed to smoothen the traffic flow, minimize pollution and ensure public convenience and safety. The work is end-less and so is the zeal of JDA, to make Jaipur a happening City.
